This high-speed nomadic charger is made to charge any vehicle in Mode 2 at 16A (three-phase) plugged into CEE industrial sockets which gives 11.1kW charging power.

Thanks to the integrated Type B circuit breaker (optional), user is protected from unbalanced power as this residual current device (RCD) will cut power.

Additionally, this charger has integrated overheating protection that shuts down charging process and starts it again automatically if necessary.

This quick portable charging solution for electric vehicle allows user to set charging current from 6A to 16A. This selection is kept in memory, even if you disconnect it from power socket.

Designed for daily use, this EV portable charging station takes advantage of a smart conception having all electronics integrated inside the Type 2 plug. This is why it is way more compact and lighter than any other charger. It is a highly convenient, easy-to-use, easy-to-carry and easy-to-store solution.

Fast portable charger for electric vehicles

This nomadic quick charger will allow you to charge your EV in Mode 2 at maximum 11 kW charging power. This equals 16 Amps from three phase alternative current of 400 Volts.

Starting and ending the charging process are automatically managed by the charger. Simply plug it into your car and it will start charging at the last charging power saved in charger’s memory. Charging power can be easily adjusted by user from 6 to 16A.

This charging solution is universal. It is not dedicated to a specific car model or car brand.

Actually, it fits any vehicle having Type 2 socket, which is the case for the vast majority of EVs on the European market. This solution is also compatible with plug-in hybrid vehicles (rechargeable).

Thanks to this charging device for electric vehicle, you can charge at every place having CEE industrial electric sockets like campsites, markets, marinas or even at home if you install one. If necessary, it is also possible to plug this EV charger into other types of CEE sockets thanks to our numerous adapters available.

Charging is twice as fast as using a basic charger of 3.7kW. Moreover, you can charger whenever you want, while taking advantage of a known and controlled energy cost.

This nomadic charger for electric vehicles is a portable automated charging station that can be connected to any power grid having CEE sockets.

This charging solution requires installing a suitable industrial socket if you don’t have one already.

Integrated RCD

European standards require that every single charger for electric or hybrid vehicle is plugged into sockets protected by Type B residual current device (RCD).

This RCCB (residual current circuit breaker) shuts down power as soon as unbalanced alternative current (from power grid) or unbalanced continuous current (vehicle) is detected. This circuit breaker will protect user.

Optionally, this Type B RCD can be directly integrated into the plug from power grid side, for more convenience.

Thanks to that, you are sure to benefit from this essential protection wherever you charge your vehicle.

Overheating protection

Protection against overheating is also included. It is completely autonomous.

In case of overheating, charger will automatically decrease charging power or even shut itself down if necessary. When temperature cools down, charger will increase charging power back to normal in order to continue charging process as planned.

Notes

  • Which charger to choose for your electric vehicle?
  • We recommend using a CEE 5P 16A socket tester or a CEE 5P 32A socket tester. It allows making sure three-phase industrial sockets you use are correctly wired.
  • Adapters are available to drastically increase your charger compatibility.
  • When this charger is connected with an adapter, to a domestic socket or single-phase industrial socket, it charges at max 3.7 kW.
  • If you choose a version without residual current device (RCD), it is mandatory that sockets you will plug it into are protected themselves with such a device.
  • RCD is a residual current protection device (RCD) which is also called residual current circuit breaker (RCCB).  This protection system instantly breaks a circuit to prevent serious harm due to an electric shock. Injuries are still possible in certain cases, if for instance a person comes to fall after receiving the shock or if he touches both wires at the same time.
