Legrand’s Green’up Access socket has been developed to replace standard household sockets which are not designed to deliver a current of 16 Amps for hours. When recharging an electric car from a standard socket, high currents are demanded from the network and this can last for many hours.
A standard domestic socket can only deliver about 10 Amperes under these conditions without overheating.
You just need to replace your existing outlet by a Green’up Access from Legrand to be able to recharge your electric or hybrid vehicle on a daily basis.
