Thanks to this V2L , VTL (Vehicle to Load) adapter, you’ll be able to power your 230 Volts electric devices (up to 3,5kW) from your V2L enabled electric vehicle.
Build for electric vehicles from Hyundai and Kia group, this V2L adapter has a temperature sensor that prevents potentially weak/damaged domestic plug to overheat, so it is safe to connect loads with up to 3,5 kW power.
The V2L function (Vehicle to load), also known as bidirectional charging, or reverse charging, allows you to power your electrical devices from your car.
You can therefore use it for instance to charge your electric bike, to power a coffee machine on the road, a microwave oven, an iron, an electric barbecue, etc. It is even possible to charge another electric vehicle by plugging it in, for example, with one of our portable chargers.
A push button located under the Type 2 connector allows you to activate/deactivate the V2L function (The vehicle must have the V2L function for this adapter to work – see list of compatible vehicles below).
Designed and built in European Union, this V2L adapter is usable on the following vehicles, providing that they have the V2L (Vehicle to load) enabled:
- KIA EV6
- Hyundai Ioniq 5
- KIA e-Niro: from year 2023
